MEET ANNE
With more than 25 years of teaching experience in both public and private schools, Anne DeWeese has a proven track record both in the classroom and at home. Since starting her teaching career in New Jersey, Anne has taught hundreds of students from pre-K-12th grade and college in six states – in both special and general education classrooms and across all subjects. Additionally, Anne helped navigate her own daughter’s educational journey and understands the emotional and mental impact a student’s learning has on parents.
During her tenure, Anne has developed countless instructional plans to increase the performance level of students and provided the tools they need to achieve success. She’s presented to other educators on topics including best practices, behavioral techniques and completed the TEACCH Training program. Most recently Anne was a special education teacher in Colorado and went on to create a transitional program for adult students providing the essential skills for students to reach their potential in work, independent living, and community settings.
Anne’s tried and true formula centers around the individual and her unique ability to tailor instruction to strengths – avoiding the one size fits all approach to learning. In 2020 , Anne went back to her true calling, teaching students and supporting the families through this unique learning landscape.
